Virginia gun crime drops, as state’s firearms sales soar

Just last week, FoxNews.com published an article about the effect of the nationwide call for stricter gun laws in Virginia. Interestingly enough, Virginia’s gun-related crime has declined as firearms sales have increased.

According to the estimates from the Richmond Times-Dispatch, since 2012 there has been a 16% increase in firearm sales, with a 5% decrease in major crimes committed with firearms in the same time frame.
